Nigerian Label JReason on RocSpotLight (post by urbanroc’s SPARKS)

So I had the privilege of being in the studio while this collection was shot and I must say it was a thrill watching the designer, stylist, make-up artiste and interns pace speedily around Hakeem Salaam’s studio. Ladies and gentlemen, make welcome the “Skin and Bold” 2014 collection from fast-rising Nigerian Label, JReason.

This collection boasts of fashion-forward, youthful, simple yet edgy designs for that modern stylish man which depicts the brand’s ethos. Bold colours and prints in floral, gingham and zebra-style monochromes on fabrics like jersey, sheer, fine-cotton et al…are seen in the collection. The footwears were classic brogues in cool colour tones like black, grey and brown and a particularly wedgy-soled one I fell in love with.

According to the label’s creative director, Jide Adedeji, here’s what he had to say, “The collection is basically a reflection of youthful trends that are bold and at the same time simple. Minimalism is the keyword as well as convenience and style. Whether you love going for parties, sophisticated or generally all about colourful prints – the collection has something for you“

So here it is folks…what’s not to like? Lemme know your thoughts. #UrbanRoc
